    Beginning in the 1930s with local fisherman challenging each other to dive off the cliffs, present day La Quebrada Cliff Divers are honored professionals who have perfected the art of diving and have acheived worldwide recognition. La Quebrada Cliff Divers received worldwide attention after being featured in Elvis Presley’s 1963 musical “Fun in Acapulco”  and in ABC’s Wide World of Sports during the late 1960s and through the 1970s.
