    Description

    Here is a very unusual vintage item.  This is a paper cup, from the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition World Fair in San Francisco California.  On side reads " GOLDEN GATE 1939 INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION ON SAN FRANCISCO BAY " and pictures the golden gate bridge, and a world with a banner circling around it.  The other side reads " 1939 WORLD'S FAIR ON SAN FRANCISCO BAY " and pictures the golden gate bridge and the Tower Of The Sun building.  Around the inside bottom rim reads " No. 209 HOT DRINK - A PRODUCT OF LILY - TULIP CUP CORPORATION, NEW YORK, N.Y., U.S.A. ".
    Paper cup, measures ~ 3 1/2" tall, ~ 3 1/8" across the top, and ~ 2 3/8" across the bottom, and condition is vintage, probably used, has some age discoloration, stains around the bottom rim, no folds or tears, red and blue colors have some age but still nice.  This scarce item will make a nice addition to your collection.
