Vintage Golden Gate International Expo San Francisco Postcards-Postmarked 1939

Description

This is a lot of 2 Vintage Linen Lithograph postcards depicting the Golden Gate International Exposition held in San Francisco, Ca in 1939.  Both postcards are postmarked 1939 and have a cancelled one cent stamp with a special "Golden Gate International Exposition 1939" cancellation imprint.  The first card shows the locations of specific Y.M.C.A.'s throughout the city of San Francisco as well as the Exposition site.  The second card shows the Exhibition Palaces, Golden Gate International Exposition, San Francisco.  On the back it states it is the "Golden Gate International Exposition Official Postcard".  The postcards are in good condition with some signs of use and age.  They have been addressed and a message written on the back from the sender.  See photos for details.
