Vintage Egyptian Revival Art Deco Nouveau Scarab Beetle Stone Earrings 12k Gold

Gorgeous vintage carved scarab earrings. These are screw back, so no ear piercing necessary. Can be worn with pierced ears, of course. I always got complements when I wore them since they are so different. Light pink/purple color with gold hardware. Purchased in a vintage shop and was told that they were moonstone. The backs of the screws are engraved, "1/20 - 12K GOLD-FILLED". They come in little velvet box. Unknown if it is original to the earrings. They do show their age on the part that surrounds the stones. This may be able to be cleaned. I like it because it gives them a more vintage feel. Please see photos. I'm afraid I don't know much else about these beauties. I just buy things that I like. I don't really get much wear from them anymore and would love to see them treasured by someone else.
