Description
A fine and rare Upper Xiajiadian culture bronze figurative dagger. The double sided blade with high double channelled midrib, surmounted by a janus male and female figures both with flat angular faces framed by wide ears.Ex Hong Kong Private Collection.
Origin:
Upper Xiajiadian culture Circa 1000 to 600 B.C,, Northeastern China / Inner Mongolia
Dimensions:
Length: 31 cm / Average Width 3.5 - 4 cm
Condition:
Oxidised patina, in good condition.
