    Description

    This is a Solid 14K Yellow Gold 50Ct Amethyst and Diamond Accents Pendant.  I recently acquired this at a local auction.  The pendant is not marked but acid tests to 14K.  It is done in plain yellow gold with a bright polished finish.  The pendant has a prong set oval cut Natural Amethyst measuring 34mm by 23mm weighing approximately 50 Carats.  On either side of the Amethyst is 3 prong set round cut natural Diamond Accents (6 in total) each measuring 2mm in diameter.  Overall the pendant measures 1 3/4 inches tall (from the top of the bail to the bottom of the stone) by about 1 1/8 inch wide.  The pendant weighs 28.5 grams on my digital postal scale.
