    Description

    This is a Solid 10K Yellow Gold and Sapphire Cross Pendant.  I recently acquired this at a local estate auction.  I believe it is a contemporary piece.  It is clearly marked 417 (standard purity mark for 10K) and has a maker's mark on the back.  The Cross is done in plain Yellow Gold with a bright polished finish.  The center of the cross holds an oval cut deep blue genuine natural Sapphire measuring 7mm by 5mm weighing approximately 0.84 carat.  The pendant measures 1 7/8 inch tall (including the bail) by 7/8 inch wide and weighs 3.0 grams on my digital postal scale.
