    Description

Here is a beautiful and historic Tacoma, Washington confection company tin container from the Tacoma Biscuit & Candy Company. The company operated in downtown near what is now the University of Washington campus from 1904 to 1931 when the Great Depression was hitting businesses hard. They were bought out by Nabisco, but during their peak popularity they were a major competition to the local candies companies such as Brown & Haley of Almond Roca fame, Hamilton Candy Co, Humphrey's, Mars and others.  Their logo phrase was Good Things To Eat.
This vintage original tin features great graphics and it is a large size for a great display.
The cannister's size is 6 1/2" by 12", and it's in used condition with many dents and age/handling wear of the body and paint as seen on the photos.
