All the bags have been handcrafted from leather. They have all been assembled using metal rivets. Depending on which style of hanging bag your considering it will come with either a Sam Brown button or swing clasp to close the flap on the bag. All of the hanging bags come with belt loop hangers which will fit 1-3/4"- 2" wide belts depending on which style of bag. All rivets and work on these bags is completely done by hand. All hardware and rivets match in color where possible. Please see all the detailed descriptions for each style of hanging bag below, and reference the photos of each individual bag style A-F.
Style A is a Steampunk themed hanging belt bag that features a Sam Brown button for a closure and antique nickel metal rivets to assemble the 3 pieces of 7-9oz burgundy colored latigo leather. This leather used in the production of these bags is extremely heavy as in thick and will hold up to extreme use for a very long time. The hanging bag is hung using two nautical spring clasps riveted to the back piece of leather. The clasps are hung from leather belt loops which will fit belts up to 1-3/4" in width. There are two clasps and belt loops for this bag. The size of the bag is 6-3/4" tall, 3-5/8" wide, and approximately 1-1/4" thick. The total hanging length of the bag is approximately 10-1/2" long. This hanging bag can be used to carry a wide variety of items from a small cell phone to mp3 players, and many other items. The bag will not work for carrying change as it has a hole in the bottom. This Steampunk themed hanging bag will make a nice accessory for anyone looking for gear to finish out their costume.
Style B is a Steampunk themed hanging belt bag that is the same as (Style A) except that it has bright nickel rivets and matching Sam Brown button. This hanging bag uses the same antique nickel nautical spring clasps as Style A hanging bag. This bag is the same in all other features as Style A hanging bag.
Style C hanging bag is a Steampunk themed hanging belt bag that features a antique brass Sam Brown button for closing the top flap and has matching textured antique brass metal rivets which are used throughout the assembly of this bag. This hanging bag is made from 9-12oz burgundy colored latigo leather. The bag uses a single antique brass nautical spring clasp with belt loop and "D" ring. The nautical clip is riveted to the back piece of the leather hanging bag. This hanging bag is completely assembled using nothing but textured antique brass metal rivets. This makes this a very heavy robust bag that will survive extreme use for a very long time. This bag will make a great addition to just about any Steampunk costume. This bag not only looks tough, but it will hold today's larger cell phones. I have fitted my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone which is inside a metal case that measures 3-1/4
" wide x 6-3/8" long x 1/2" thick. So if you have a cell phone in this size range or any other items you want to carry with your Steampunk gear then this hanging bag if what you need. The bag measures approximately 7-1/2" tall, 4-3/8" wide,1-1/4" thick, and the total hanging length is 11-5/8".
Style D is a Steampunk themed hanging belt bag that features an antique brass swing clasp and textured bright brass rivets. The bag is made from 6-7oz vegetable tanned cow hide leather that has been dyed with saddle tan colored leather dye, with some medium brown leather stain lightly bled into the edges for a darkened boarder. The leather was then given a finish coat of resolene to protect the leather and give it a glossier finish. The bag is made from just two pieces of leather that has been assembled using only the textured bright brass metal rivets. For a closure the bag uses a antique brass metal swing clasp which is two pieces and has been securely attached to the bag using matching textured bright brass metal rivets. The bag has two loops of leather attached to the upper back of the bag, and on each of these leather loops is a shiny brass spring clip. These spring clips then are attached to the hanging belt loops and brass "D" ring. The hanging belt loop will accommodate up to a 2" wide belt. The hanging bag can be used for a very wide variety of uses from holding a small cellphone to mp3 players, in addition it can also hold coins and paper money. The hanging bag measures approximately 4-1/8" wide, 5-1/2" tall, 3/16" at the base to 1" at the flap top, and the total hanging length is 11-1/8". The bag is not gusseted so only fits smaller items so the end user will have to decide how and what the bags are used for.
Style E is a Steampunk themed hanging belt bag and has all the same features as Style D bag with the exception that is features antique nickel metal swing clasp and matching antique nickel rivets which are used throughout the assembly of this hanging bag. Everything else on this bag is exactly the same as bag Style D. Please read description of Style D bag for particulars other then color of rivets and clasp.
Style F is a Steampunk themed matching set of both an hanging bag that is the same as Style D-E with the exception that the metal rivets used for this style are antique brass rivets and matching swing clasp on the hanging bag, and a matching hanging pocket watch pouch bag. All features of the hanging bag in this two piece set are the same as the previous hanging bags as previously described. Please read the preceding hanging bag description under Style D bag for particulars for the hanging bag. The second piece of this set is the hanging pocket watch pouch which features a nickel and antique brass Steampunk gear concho which has been riveted to the leather pouch using matching textured antique brass metal rivets. Both hanging bag and pocket watch pouch feature two hanging loops holding the bright brass spring clips which connect to the belt loop with "D" ring. The leather belt loops will accommodate up to a 2" wide belt. The hanging pocket watch pouch measures approximately 4-1/8" wide, 4-1/2" tall, 3/16" thick, and the hanging length of 10-3/8". The pocket watch pouch as seen in the photos is a 2/3 covered pouch and is open on the top 1/3 of the body for easy watch insertion. This two piece Steampunk themed hanging bag and pocket watch pouch set will accentuate anyone's Steampunk costume ensemble. The hanging set is not only nice looking but it also is very functional, which goes a long way when building a period looking costume.
