Yah, it may seem like a high price for a piece of paper with the face of an enemy of the US on it. This is an extremely rare piece of history; the historical point where it was the worst strike on US soil; ever! This type of Post Office Osama Bin Laden FBI WANTED Poster was plastered all over the country afterward. Only a few remain because they were removed. With the accepted spelling of his name at the time. Posters were placed with that spelling until Osama Bin Ladin became the accepted spelling, and as time went on with media coverage becoming more wide spread of him.
Condition is as seen in photos. Used, but without the typical ripped holes at the tops where they were clipped into binders or hung on the cork boards that other posters have.
This poster was originally inside a Southern California Post Office for official FBI declaration purposes and held within a book for WANTED individuals.
Oddly, this poster wasn’t hung up. Most WANTED posters are hung from two holes punched in the tops, or from four holes punched two in the tops and two in the bottoms of the posters but this one was placed inside a book, so there are no holes. This poster only has wrinkles but is complete and whole.
