Description
Sweet little typewriter. I bought it as a decoration for my office where it was a conversation piece for several years. I placed family pictures on it and tucked a little metal flag into the platen once in a while. I'm still trying to locate the serial number. Enthusiasts who know are welcome to write to me and I will try again, but think it may have been rubbed out, so I am pricing accordingly. I think pictures 11 and 12 indicate where the numbers should be. The most recent patent date is 1914 as shown in picture 3. There is no case. Overall it's in pretty good condition and needs a new ribbon. This is sold in "as is" condition and there are no warranties express or implied.According to MOMA's website, it's dimensions unfolded are 6 1/4 x 10 5/8 x 9 3/4" (15.9 x 27 x 24.8
cm); and folded are 4 x 10 5/8 x 9" (10.2 x 27 x 22.9 cm). The Smithsonian website shows one of these machines with a carrying case.
