    Description

    Most of the clothes we are selling are vintage and used. Only a few are new but most have been worn so expect some wear. Any flaws or damage will be listed in the description.
    Our measurements are pretty accurate but can vary by ¼”. We take the measurements for your benefit so please check them against your own or check them against an item you already own. Even though it is your favorite brand and your size, it may not fit the same!
    This fantastic vintage 1940s robe or smoking jacket was made by Roos Bros Sportwear of California. There are no content tags but I believe it is made of 100% Satin Rayon, a medium weight robe. It is a dark burgundy color (universal color, lighter areas due to lighting) with a pin stripe, diamonds with painted white dots and has a matching lining. This robe has a rolled shawl collar, padded shoulders, has long sleeves with a split cuff, has one breast pocket, two lower large front pockets, a belt tie with fancy corded ends and tassels and it is fully lined. It is not marked but fits like a men's size Medium to Large. PLEASE CHECK THE MEASUREMENTS.
    Shoulders: 19.5", Armpit to Armpit: 24", Sleeve Length (from Shoulder): 26.5", Length at the Back: 51". All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat and on the outside, double where necessary. This robe is in very good vintage condition, NO HOLES, RIPS, STAINS, SNAGS OR REPAIRS. This robe has not been used much and is in incredible condition! It comes from a smoke-free home. We want you to be happy with your purchase so please ask any questions before you bid/purchase.
