    1. Tube circumference measured with a cloth tape measure.
    2. Distance from altitude bearing center or balance point, to the back of the tube.  How to determine the optimal balance point?  Write us, we can help you.
    Mount construction:
    Rocker box assembly is stiffened with Internal 3/8" dowels in pre-drilled holes providing excellent strength and stiffness. Boards are also secured with #12 wood screws hiding the dowels and locking them in place. Wood parts arrive rough sanded using 80 grit.
    Altitude bearing construction:
    bearings have a pair of custom cut curved braces that face the tube and attach using 3/8" bolt that passing through the center hole of the bearing into the telescope tube.
    You must drill two 3/8" holes
    in the tube 180 degrees apart at the balance point to attach the bearings.
    Alternative is mounting bearings to your existing tube rings.
    All parts included:
    18 mm Baltic Birch plywood mount parts, 3/8"x1" dowels, #12 wood screws, 3/8" azimuth bolt assembly. Bearing surfaces are included virgin Teflon, Starboard and  Formica laminate Crystal 909
    . Screw holes pre-drilled and countersunk. Required items you supply: 3/8" bolt, washer and nut to secure bearings to your tube, sandpaper, wood glue, wood putty, contact cement, paint/finish. Tools required: Philips screwdriver, crescent or ratchet wrenches.  Easy assembly with our 24/7 support.
