Item is a very unique and collectable antique hand crafted pyrography decorated Souvenir Model Canoe Paddle from York Beach, Maine circa1900-1910. It features an image of the York Beach downtown square, and is further decorated with designs that are evocative of Native American styling. Paddle measures 18 3/4 inches L, 3 3/8 inches W at the blade (1 11/16 inches W at the handle). The pyrography work, and overall theme are very well done. This scarce souvenir is in the excellent antique original condition in which it was located within a local estate.
