Amazing vintage genuine
cherry amber
beads necklace. Unsigned. Exact age unknown. Estate sale find. All beads in this necklace are genuine, graduated, hand-carved cherry amber oval beads, no two alike, all with unique inclusions and organic matter within. Semi-transparent dark reddish-brown color. Please allow for slight variation between actual colors and photo colors due to technical limitations and differences between device screens. Strung on safflower yellow cotton cord, hand-knotted between each bead. Gold tone metal spring ring clasp. One bead is flawed with flat side, which occurred before the bead was polished or lacquered, as it has shiny surface like rest of bead and had it cracked after polishing it would be dull finish. Edge along flat side shows wear, as the gloss surface is worn (see 7th/8th photos). The flawed bead is a minor issue considering beads are handmade and have the most wonderful feel to them.
