To commemorate the 150th Anniversary of Canada's Confederation, the Royal Canadian Mint issued a wide array of products celebrating Canada 150.  The key piece is this Special Edition proof set that showcases each of the special Canada 150 circulation coins struck in proof finish.  In addition to showcasing each of the winning designs of the My Canada, My Inspiration contest, but also features an exclusive selectively gold-plated 150th Anniversary Silver Dollar made available only in this set.  All coins in this set are struck in 99.99% fine silver, in a fine frosted finish with mirror fields.  This set is encapsulated and comes complete with Certificate of Authenticity and specially designed outer sleeve as issued by the Royal Canadian Mint.
