    Description:
Previous Uncirculated Set sold out! Includes the rare 50-cent coin! First uncirculated set without the penny!
The Uncirculated Set continues a long tradition as the perfect way to collect Canada's circulation coins from year-to-year. These shiny coins are also an original keepsake to transform everyday achievements like the first day of school or first job, into memorable milestones—keep them on hand for life's unexpected victories!
Every coin that is minted in Canada is a work of art. Each represents a fragment of the unique history and extraordinary geography of Canada. The 2013 Uncirculated set, which contains the six denominations of coins produced this year, is a striking collection of some of Canada's most famous iconography.
    Polar Bear:
Canada's bi-metallic two-dollar coin, launched in 1996, features a polar bear, one of the world's largest terrestrial carnivores, which can weigh up to 650 kilograms (1,430 pounds). It lives near the cold seas and frozen ice of Canada's far-north.
    Common Loon:
Launched in 1987, the reverse of the one-dollar coin represents a common loon swimming against the rugged backdrop of the Canadian Shield. The loon's haunting calls are one the quintessential sound of the Canadian wilderness in summer.
    Canada's Coat of Arms:
The Canadian Coat of Arms, proclaimed in 1921 and modified in 1996, reminds Canadians of their diverse heritage. It features images from France (the fleur-de-lis), England (the three royal lions and rose), Scotland (a lion and thistle) and Ireland (the Irish harp and shamrock).
    Caribou:
An enduring symbol of the Canadian north, the majestically-antlered caribou has remained a Canadian icon since first appearing on the twenty-five-cent piece in 1936.
    Bluenose:
In 1921, Atlantic Canadians built one of the finest racing and fishing vessels in Canadian history, the Bluenose. Known for its speed, and almost unbeatable in a race, the ship first appeared on the ten-cent piece in 1937.
    Beaver:
The beaver is Canada's national animal. Highly sought after for its rich fur in the 17th and 18th centuries, it was the mainstay of the colonial economy for centuries. Today, the beaver is revered as a symbol of hard work and perseverance.

    Unsearched”

All of the coins offered in this listing are “unsearched”.
Many coin dealers “search” all coins when they are received from the Mint.  They "cherry-pick" the best coins.  Then submit them to be graded, certified, and slabbed by PCGS, NGC, ANACS, etc.  These graded and certified coins are then sold at higher, premium prices.  When a dealer searches coins, those that they sell in original Mint packaging are only lesser quality coins.
    Photos:
When a listing offers multiples of the same coin, one coin is picked at random and photographed.  Since all coins offered in that listing are essentially identical, the coin photographed is representative of all coins offered.
Surface areas that appear black on some proof coin photos are actually highly polished, mirror-bright metal reflecting the color of the camera. We often include proof coin photos with the coin slightly tilted to better depict the mirror bright surfaces.  However, tilting the coin may
    result in
    one side being
    slightly
out of focus.  Please review all of the photos provided to obtain the best understanding of the coin's actual
    appearance.
Our goal is to provide clear, high definition photos that accurately represent the coin(s) offered in each of our eBay listings.  Whenever possible, we use actual photos of our coins, rather than just stock artwork from the Mint.  We frequently update and upgrade the photos that appear with our listings, using improved cameras and lenses and better lighting.  We will honor your requests for additional photos as quickly as our schedule permits.
