16g HUGE VINTAGE TOLLE 14K 52X22 AUSTRALIAN BLACK OPAL DIAMOND BROOCH PENDANT

This was a custom piece made by Florida designer John Tolle, it is not his typical style but was designed for a client.
I am not certain if this is a treated opal or not, so it is priced as an exceptional treated Andamooka black opal.
This is a huge (approx. 52x22x8mm) solid opal and opals this size are becoming increasingly rare. The accent diamond is approx. 3.6mm, .18ct.  This can be worn as a brooch or a pendant, it measures 2" x 7/8".  (weight of  brooch pendant is 16.2g)
The opal is very beautiful with lots of purple and red fire, in addition to orange, yellow, and green (depending on how you move the stone). There is small white line and a few tiny white spots (see last pics), they are not scratches, just crystal part of the opal (you can see with a loupe that they are actual white crystal spots that have specks of fire). There are no chips or cracks to the stone. All but one picture were taken in sunlight which is the best for photographing opals, one (which is darker) was taken in dim lighting.
It is in excellent vintage condition and guaranteed 14k gold, signed John Tolle and engraved 14k.
